About SurfingHandbook.com
The Surfing Handbook came about as a result of a way to learn how to build a website and use CSS. This site was also a way for me to learn about affiliate marketing. The site was actually built using Site Build It, but I've since moved on from that platform.
You might notice some affiliate links in some of the pages. However, I've since stopped using this page as a "money maker" (it never made that much) (or, as my friend would say, "trying to trick people into buying fins," haha) and more as a way of having fun and spreading my love for surfing.
I've been surfing since 2002 and I'm based out of Long Island, New York. I surf a lot in Montauk, and you might find me paddling out in one of the coves or at the very popular Ditch Plains.
