Intermediate Surfing Tips

Looking for some intermediate surfing tips? If you’ve checked out our Beginner’s Surfing Tips page, and have mastered everything, or if you are simply looking for ways to elevate your surfing to new levels, we highly recommend Pro Surf Secrets by Mike Low.

This is a great book. It’s in an “ebook” format so you can download it instantly and read it on your comptuer, or print it out if you want. It’s illustrated with photos and drawings, and there’s a ton of stuff covered.

Mike Low presents a great all around package with advice from World Champ John Gisby and New Zealand pros Maz Quinn and Steve Colbert.

The book itself focuses on surfers who have mastered the basics and are looking to improve areas like better bottom turns, lightning fast cutbacks, and getting all the speed you can out of a wave. At about 150 pages it’s pretty hefty.

It’s a great deal since it’s pretty hard to find information like this in bookstores. Most of the books you see really just focus on beginner basics, and only have a little bit of info on more advanced maneuvers. Mike Low goes pretty in depth on the topics discussed.
