    Alex Joyce is a writer, scientist and surfer. He has travelled across Europe, Africa, Asia, The Americas and Australia in pursuit of waves. He is currently making a documentary called "Together We Surf" about a recent surf trip to Mexico. He resides in Ireland where the weather is shit.

    Marion Stratford is a freelance writer from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. A surfer for 45 years, he has covered surfing as a correspondent for the Florida Times-Union and is currently a National Surfing Examiner with Examiner.com.

    Ray Gorman has been in and around the waters of Long Island for over 40 years. Prefers Dawn Patrols and 'secret' spots to avoid crowds, if only to be able to get in 18 holes later on. Currently lives in Astoria, NY and still makes that drive to the beach to check the sky every chance he gets...

    Hayley Gordon has been surfing for over 20 years. Riding both shortboards and longboards, she's traveled the world to surf but mainly sticks to her two home locations of San Diego and Long Island.

    Stefan Slater is from Los Angeles, CA. He is a freelance writer and started surfing when he was 14. His favorite surf spots in L.A. are Malibu Point, El Porto, and County Line.

    Shawn Tracht is a Central California surfer who has been teaching English for 8 years. He is an avid writer, having a column in Deep Magazine (deepzine.com) about surfboard design, as well as a free-lance writer in various other surf magazines, both print and online. Though Shawn is sponsored as a surfer by Patagonia, Dakine, Etnies, and Central Coast Surfboards, Shawn loves being a father and husband most.

    Tom Garlinghouse is a free-lance writer who lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains with his girlfriend, Lauren, two dogs, three cats, and a rabbit. He is an avid surfer who can frequently be found haunting the numerous reef breaks north of Santa Cruz.
